Many thanks once again to the fab team from Smart/McCann Erickson, we always manage to enjoy the water with you.
More Canon up close
Thursday, May 12th, 2011A little more Canon to add to the campaign started last year.  The talent prepped and primed and smelling good in front of the camera, clever and flexible aren’t they? As were the whole team who worked together on this campaign, special thanks to Electric Art and their touch of magic.

Thursday, February 10th, 2011Above are 4 images of a 14 shot campaign done for Qantas at the end of last year by Ian Butterworth.
We are still in the process of shooting, but a big thanks to M&C Saatchi and all the crew in advance!
2011… The wheels are back in motion!
Wednesday, January 19th, 2011
Following 10 and preceding 12, it’s the atomic number of sodium. It is the first number which cannot be represented by a human counting their eight fingers and two thumbs additively. 2 x 11 is 22 and  f/22 is the largest f-stop (and thus smallest aperture) available on most lenses made for single-lens reflex cameras… it’s 2011 and we’re back in action looking forward to another year, doing what we all love to do… take pictures!
Get Pumped
Wednesday, December 8th, 2010
You might remember me rambling on in a recent post about trampolines, water and Zumba… well here’s the final result, you’ve probably seen these shots about town already…Â My first encounter was this morning on my way to Jaffl HQ, as I leant on a metro-light and a huge bus zoomed passed me… There, on the side of the bus AND in the metro-light, was Ian Butterworth’s recent shoot for pump water.
That really tickles me pink, surrounded by daily commuters who don’t seem to realise the amount of effort that goes into making it look so damn delicious… I feel a sense of appreciation for being somewhat, a part of the process. Then I witness a guy walk out of the convenient store- PUMP Water in hand and I stand corrected ’Ah… the effective world of advertising – Ain’t it grand!’
(Thanks again to Smart Agency, Six Wolves, Hero Models for the sexy droplets and the whole team that worked together to make it another productive and entertaining shoot)
